CTX Knightís Basketball Academy has a four-tier program designed to meet the needs of every parent and youth athlete regardless of skill level. Our program is designed to offer a more competitive learning experience for youth athletes looking to improve themselves beyond the recreational level, while at the same time offering an elite level youth experience for those athletes who possess the gift and potential to participate in higher level competition both regionally and nationally.
Our "Premier" program serves our National Teams. These athletes are our top level and most experienced players. They typically have 2-8 years of experience or more, they process the game at a very high level and display advanced skills both athletically and physically. 25% of all practices are focused on skill development, while 75% of practice time is focused on film study and in-game concepts and strategies. These teams will compete all over the Country!
Our "Select" program serves our lower level experienced youth athletes. These athletes typically have 0-2 years of experience playing club basketball and require significant development in all phases of the game. 85% of all practices are focused on fundamental skill development with the remaining 15% focused on in-game concepts and strategy. These teams will compete in the Austin, San Marcos, Round Rock and Cedar Park area.
Our "Elite" program serves our mid-level youth athletes. These athletes typically have 1-5 years of club level basketball experience. 50% of all practices are focused on skill development with the other half of scheduled practice being focused on in-game concepts and strategies. These teams will compete in the Austin, Cedar Park, Round Rock, San Antonio, Waco, Houston and Dallas areas.
Our "Academy" program serves our least experienced youth athletes. These athletes have no experience playing club basketball and have very minimal rec league experience. The "Academy" teams will not compete at the club level. However, they will compete in local recreational programs while going through their skill development training with the Knights Basketball Academy.
